.

I'm very good at procrastinating. I'm very good at thinking about baking a clementine cake when I should be making books.

Lit the fire. Washed up. Recognised the merits of learning to crochet. Felt sorry for myself, picked bits of ash off the rug. Got out pencil, paper, rubber, 3 different thicknesses of pen. And number of books made? none.

Right.

distraction

Well I had my job interview. Not sure how it went, it's so hard to say isn't it? I think I'm just going to try and forget about it now, just not think about how it went or what they thought. I mean, why worry over something of which you have no control? At least that's what I keep telling myself...

To distract myself a bit I've been playing with flickr toys. Hours of fun. (Hours I probably should have spent doing something productive like cleaning the house or such like, but hey!)

saucers

I did it. I sat myself down and made a start, and a few hours later I'm nearly done. It only took 4 cups of tea, half a bar of chocolate (eaten a square at a time as reward), one round of washing up (which I hate) and one small visit to the shops to buy some new saucers for my plants to sit on (very urgent and essential I assure you). A few hours isn't that long is it, if only I'd started sooner I tell myself, then I would have been finished days ago...

So now all I have to do is press the send button and keep my fingers crossed for the chance of an interview... eeeek!
