happy thursday
Lately I've been noticing how my body seems to get heavier and heavier as the end of the working week approaches, it gets harder and harder to drag myself along. Then suddenly the clock ticks 37 and its all gone, and everythings light as a feather as soon as I step through the door, home at last, I remember to breathe out... Does that happen to you?
With all the hours done this week, I've been rediscovering the joys of small books (8cm square to be precise)...
...looking forward to a fun packed weekend of Todmorden Agricultural Show, a trip to the dentist, Swing into Summer and some tasty food at Salvos...
...eating my first 4 home grown strawberries (not a slug-hollowed one in sight, touch wood...) and bringing in some peonies from the garden...
...and reaching the 100th sale in my shop, so stay tuned next week for a celebratory give away!!

The weekend starts tonight. Have a good one.
Looks like you have already passed the 100th sale! The little red book is gorgeous I feel as if I want to pick it up and keep turning its pages. You have made it so well too - perfect. The peonies also look gorgeous - love the colour. Sounds like you have an exciting weekend ahead.
Your spine book is rather similar to a flower, something reminiscent of a peony I think, it reminds me of a Japanese brush stroke painting. I wonder if you have been inspired by your garden?
I have tried to grow peonies but they don't seem to want to flower for me. Yours are beautiful.
Congratulations on your 100the sale!
Ooh, love the peonies... I grew them in Bristol but can't grow them here. Mind you, I just spent two days planting Gymea Lilies, Bird of Paradise plants and cycads, none of which would have flourished in Bristol so I shouldn't complain. Love the photos: I just want to reach out and snatch a peony out of the picture! Sara.
