spots!

Finally a bit of sunshine... And a day off work to make me feel much better! So I got myself out in the garden and took a few photos of the bag for my friend's birthday tomorrow.

I really enjoyed making this bag (from this book again) Yet another thing that I hope I'll one day get round to making for myself, I'm sure I could fill this bag with knitting things or sewing things or drawing things or... And I'm sure the pockets around the outside would be very useful...

Perhaps to hold a handy notebook and pen, or something fairly vital around here these days...

And a gratuitous shot of the lining, just because it's spotty and I like it!

Another day off work tomorrow (hurray!) hoping for sunny sunny sunshine :)

lazy day

Sat in the garden...

...thinking I should probably mow the lawn, but instead reading this. Lovely.

sleepy

Lovely sunny day today. Made me feel all summery, sat on the grass outside to eat my dinner for the first time this year!

Lots of thoughts going round my head tonight, and I'm too tired to put them into words (or words that make much sense anyway...). So i'll leave you with these pictures of the lovely Cleopatra chicken...

Sleep well!

sunday

Went on a little walk in the woods this evening, now the clocks have gone back and the light is lasting longer. I did a bit of running round and jumping off rocks and generally expending a bit of energy. It felt so good to be out in the fresh air, and still light at 8'o'clock! Say goodnight to the sun...

And some trees for good measure...

And on the way home we said hello to the moon...

I'm applying for a new job tomorrow, decided to try and sort my life out a bit... wish me luck!

sunny saturday

It's a lovely sunny day...

And this morning I was woken by the post man delivering these beautiful flowers!

They're from my mum & dad to say thanks for looking after the animals last week. I already told them that it was a holiday for me and they did me a favour, but they are very kind and nice so have sent these instead!

They (the flowers and my parents!) are lovely... with that and the sun, what more could a girl want!
