It's hard to decide when there are so many options. Circular looks good but its hard to remove from the box; squashed up will full height walls is sturdy and safe but doesn't look exciting, curves and turns are interesting but the box making is complex (too complex, and fiddly looking too.) Maybe simple is best after all.

I like the circular one ^_^ Maybe you could put a ribbon around it so it does not expand too much whilst in the box and is easier to get out?
this looks like a book i want to curl up in. oh, goodness. i'd like to see it in all the colors of spring greens, or ochres in fall--you see, i've taken it out of your whiteness (surrounded by white that i am) and turned it into spring. sorry. truly an inspiring bookwork. i'm transported!
The grass book looks luscious - please open it so that we can see more. It is always nice to see the results of your creativity and the worktable jumble.

Thanks for commenting. So you grew up around here and so you know about all the walks. we were saying this morning about how we would like to discover some new ones. There are so many beautiful circular walks that it's easy to do the same ones alot. Where's you favourite?

So your starting point is Midgehole and what an amazing starting point that is. Lucky you. What a gorgeous place to have been brought up. Many directions to go in. My starting point is near the Coop so I have a totally different set of regular walks. One of my faves is what we call the rope swing walk as it has a great swing by the canal that the kids loved when they wer small. Up horsehold, through the beech woods, over the waterfall, through the birch woods, through the slopey field with the rope swing and then back along the canal. Varied, great views, fun on the swing and only just over an hour. Great circular one. But out your way I love a walk we did round Lumb falls and back via the crags. My boy has been going to Lumb falls with his mates for years but it was my first time. Lovely. I loved being on the tracks and hils that you can see when youre going over the tops to Haworth in the car. Lots of derelict farm buildings. I loved that day.

p.s. I meant to say how funny that you now live in Leeds because thats where I was brought up. I lived in Headingley but we used to go to Becketts Park quite a lot to get abit of green!!!!
