Over Easter we travelled to Ireland for the wedding of one of my best friends. To the south west coast, through the green hills that reminded me of home, on to the mountains...

This is the view from our bedroom window, sunshine every day. And the view up (and down) Knockatee mountain...


You can see the harbour where we stayed and the wedding took place, in the distance, and the Atlantic... it was beautiful...


(shhh. that's me on the rear left :) ) The reception was in this amazing old barn, the walls hung with multi coloured scarves and hangings, candles and rose petals and weeds creeping in at the windows...


Reminded me a little of my latest screen prints... Perhaps it's all the weeding I've been doing recently...

apron for laura

Yep, another one. This time for my lovely friend Laura, who I haven't seen for nearly a year, and although we haven't spoken for almost all that time the conversation always picks up right where we left off. I love friends like that.


So this is going off in the post to arrive on her door matt. And perhaps a third apron will be for me...

visit to nottingham

Just got back form a lovely weekend in Nottingham with my best friends. I lived with them while at university and now we all live in different cities. I miss them them all very much and it was just so good to see them. We spent the whole weekend talking and catching up with each others lives (with a bit of gossip on the side of course!) We ate lots and lots of food and quite a lot of tea an biscuits...


Visited this pub carved out of the hill under Nottingham Castle, supposedly the oldest pub in the country...


Ice creams in the park...


And to top it off today is a bank holiday! Hurray!
