I'm very good at procrastinating. I'm very good at thinking about baking a clementine cake when I should be making books.
Lit the fire. Washed up. Recognised the merits of learning to crochet. Felt sorry for myself, picked bits of ash off the rug. Got out pencil, paper, rubber, 3 different thicknesses of pen. And number of books made? none.
I wake up on the days I am supposed to go to the studio first thing in the morning and start my computer.. ugh! Dyou know you can make the most beautiful rough felt book covers by the way? :)
But then do you spend time putting the pens, pencil, rubber and papers away again? I tend to just leave a mess once I've managed to accomplish nothing. (A rubber--now there's a good British/American vocabulary difference! You'd get some quizzical looks over here.)
I like... drawing, reading, making books and folding up bits of paper, making prints, talking to the birds, trying to grow stuff, cooking and generally keeping my self entertained...

Kindred spirits indeed, my pencils and *eraser* (ahem) are still there... glad I'm not the only one!
Oh, exactly. There is never more accomplished in a completely unrelated area than when something else is supposed to get done...
