hurray for sunshine

The clocks went forward the other day... and suddenly it feels like summer is here... I left work in the day light and walked home in the daylight, little pink flowers on the trees and a bee! So this is what it's like to be alive :)

I'm off to visit a friend in Glasgow this weekend, anticipating cups of tea and cake in cafes, walking in the park (in the daylight!) a bit of nice tasty food and a good old natter.

Enjoy your weekend!

Ooh have fun in Glasglow. I love it there. Our clocks go back this weekend. I'm looking forward to the cosiness of Winter, but just not maybe for the next 4-5 months you know?

Oh yes, I know what you mean, by the 3rd month it seems like all its ever been... That's why I'm suddenly remembering that daylight *does* exist :) I love the change in seasons, just not the long dark nights!

I hope you had a lovely weekend away in Glasgow!

I'm in the *we turned our clocks back over the weekend* contingent and I'm a summer girl at heart so I'm not super excited about 4-5 months of wintery weather...but there are certain elements that I am looking forward to: namely hot chocolates, snuggling into my doona and wearing scarves :)
