I like walking down this street, lovely arched windows and then the view of the domes at the end on the market. And there's some right bargains in there too (although I don't like the meat street!) I got some new fabric for another bag for another birthday...

This pattern is supposedly harder than the previous ones I've sewn, so we'll see how it turns out... Happy Thursday!

Sarah, are you familiar with Su Blackwell's work? She's a UK-based book artist, among other things. For some reason, your new banner made me think of some of her work.

Oh wow, her work is amazing! I've never seen her work before but thanks for introducing me, it's beautiful! (although it does make me feel a bit like 'oh that's what I wanted mine to look like but had no chance in a million years':) )
ooh i have one too - Jade Pegler, http://spectrescope.blogspot.com/
she is a wonderful artist using paper. Inspiration is a great tool for aspiring to :)
Thanks Feltbug, It's great to hear about these new artists (and also that I'm not alone in wishing I had got there first work wise, although I much prefer the word 'aspire'!)
